Lombok has always been in my "I need to visit" list and 2 weeks back I was lucky enough to be able to step foot in Lombok.
Lombok is still untouched. In fact when I told some people I wanted to visit Lombok, they gave me that blank look. For those who have not mastered their geography or world map, Lombok and Bali are actually neighbors. Before Air Asia came into the picture, you would either need to take a flight to lombok via Bali or take a ferry, but now thanks to Tony, you can fly straight to lombok and the flight is roughly 3 hours.
For those looking for a quiet place, i would highly recommend Lombok. Lombok is pretty big and until now I have yet to master their Map. I would say Lombok is ideal if you just want to rest and relax. It took me a month plus to figure out what i should do in Lombok and just a day to finish visiting the "Tourist places" .
